Slice the loaf into 1-inch-slices without cutting all the way through the bread.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Melt the butter in a small sauce pan over medium heat.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add the garlic and cook stirring often until fragrant, about one or two minutes.
