spinach of course, hard-boiled eggs, and bacon .\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 It is the dressing that takes it to new and delicious flavour heights.<\/p>\n<p>If you are generous with the amount of eggs and bacon you add to your salad you could make\u00a0 it\u00a0 a meal.\u00a0 Just\u00a0 add some crusty French bread and voila you have supper.<\/p>\n<p>This salad dressing is so good you might want to make a double recipe.\u00a0\u00a0 If you read the ingredient list on the labels of most commercial salad dressings you&#8217;ll see water listed as the first ingredient.\u00a0 Why would you pay money for water when it is so simple to make your own dressings.<\/p>\n<p>SPINACH SALAD<\/p>\n<p>A large bunch of spinach well washed, or a regular sized container of pre-washed baby spinach.\u00a0 (I also wash this spinach)<\/p>\n<p>8 slices of cooked bacon crumbled<\/p>\n<p>3 hard-boiled eggs.\u00a0 (To make the perfect hard-boiled egg put your eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water.\u00a0 On high heat, no lid on the pan, bring the eggs to a boil.\u00a0 Take them off the heat and cover and let sit for 15 minutes of so.\u00a0 Drain and run cold water over the eggs.\u00a0 You&#8217;ll have tender, perfectly cooked eggs.)<\/p>\n<p>Some thinly sliced red or white onion or several green onions sliced.\u00a0 The amount is up to you.<\/p>\n<p>ASIAN SPINACH DRESSING:<\/p>\n<p>In a medium sized bowl put<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp sugar<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp dry mustard<\/p>\n<p>3\/4 tsp curry powder<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 tsp garlic powder<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 tsp salt<\/p>\n<p>a very generous amount of freshly ground black pepper<\/p>\n<p>Add<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 cup red wine vinegar<\/p>\n<p>2 tbsp white wine<\/p>\n<p>3\u00a0 tbsp spoons light soy sauce and give it a good whisk.<\/p>\n<p>Now\u00a0 whisk in a scant 3\/4 cup of good quality vegetable oil.\u00a0\u00a0 I make this with canola oil instead of the heavier olive oil, but again this is your choice.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/mrsbutterfingers.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/Spinach-egg-bacon-salad.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1636\" title=\"Spinach egg bacon salad\" src=\"http:\/\/mrsbutterfingers.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/Spinach-egg-bacon-salad.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"http:\/\/mrsbutterfingers.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/Spinach-egg-bacon-salad.jpg 640w, http:\/\/mrsbutterfingers.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/Spinach-egg-bacon-salad-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Toss the spinach, bacon and onions with\u00a0 some dressing until all the leaves are coated.\u00a0 Then arrange the\u00a0 egg slices on top.\u00a0 Enjoy.<\/p>\n<div class=\"easyrecipe\">\n<table class=\"ERHDTable\" border=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><span class=\"item ERName\"><span class=\"fn\">SPINACH SALAD &#8230;
