To roast walnuts put the unchopped nuts in a small pan and roast in the 350F oven for 5 to 10 minutes. Watch closed to avoid scorching.<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 generous teaspoon grated lemon rind<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/3 cup sugar<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/4 cup lemon juice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERInstructions\">\n<div class=\"ERInstructionsHeader\">Instructions<\/div>\n<div class=\"instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Heat oven to 350F.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Butter a 9 by 5 by 3-inch loaf pan and lightly dust with a little flour.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl and set aside.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Cream butter and the 3\/4 cup of sugar until fluffy.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Fold in the chopped nuts and the grated rind.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Turn into loaf pan and bake for 50 minutes to an hour, or until loaf is browned and done. A skewer inserted into the center of the loaf should come out clean.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">While the loaf is baking make your sugar syrup by mixing 1\/3 cup lemon juice and 1\/4 cup sugar in a small saucepan.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Stir the mixture over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Continue cooking for a couple of minutes more than remove from the heat and set aside.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">When your loaf is baked leave it in the pan and make several holes in the bread with the skewer.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Spoon the syrup over the hot loaf and cool on rack for 20 minutes before turning of a pan.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERNutrition\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"endeasyrecipe\" style=\"display: none;\">3.3.3077<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"simple_likebuttons_container_small\">\r\n      <div class=\"simple_likebuttons_facebook\">\r\n        <div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\r\n        <script>(function(d, s, id) {\r\n          var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];\r\n          if (d.getElementById(id)) {return;}\r\n          js = d.createElement(s);
