I’m a label reader when I shop. How much sugar, how much salt and so on, in the items I take off the grocer’s shelves.
In the produce department I head for the organic section. Problem is one can’t always find the organic vegetables you want. Because of this, it’s wise to remember the 12 fruits and vegetables that you should buy organic. These are the ones most saturated in pesticides and herbicides. Pesticides run off from fields and enter the water table and we’ve all heard about their effects on our collective health.
